WINTER

This winter has been much snowier than last year, but we are not complaining.  The kids have been outside still, nearly everyday!  They have enjoyed shoveling (yes, they are still young enough to think that is FUN!  lol), sledding down the backyard hill, and Dad even spent a few hours out in the snow with Linc building a snow igloo big enough for 3 children to take shelter in.  Luckily, the windchill has been bearable.   Linc's cold urticaria has not stopped him from being a kid.  Instead, Santa delivered some super warm face masks and he is therefore shielded from the elements and perfectly content playing and building.  No one would be the wiser to know he is allergic to the cold temps.  He fully understand the importance of keeping all skin covered and thanks to his responsibleness, he is typically "polka dot" (what we call his cold induced hives) free and just your typical kid enjoying an Ohio winter.
